3 Things to Focus on in Cobra Pose

Cobra pose is one of those postures in yoga that we do a ton... but don't always think about the specifics. Think about these simple form cues the next time you do a cobra pose.

Tip #1:

Think about lifting just your chest and first ribs off the floor, but keep your belly button planted to the ground.

Tip #2

Gaze down your nose to lengthen your neck.

Tip #3

Take the weight out of your hands. I like to lift mine off the floor for a second or so to further engage my upper back.
